Ingredients

Cake

  • 200 g plain flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 4 eggs (200g)
  • 100 g butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • 1 tsp baking powder (5 g)
  • Pinch of salt

Topping

  • 300 ml whipped cream
  • 150 g strawberries
  • 100 g raspberries
  • Icing sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C / 350°F.
  2. Beat eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy.
  3. Add melted butter and vanilla. Mix gently.
  4. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the mixture.
  5. Fold gently to keep it airy.
  6. Pour into a greased round tin and bake 20–25 minutes.
  7. Let the cake cool completely.
  8. Spread whipped cream on top and decorate with berries.
  9. Dust lightly with icing sugar for a snowy Christmas effect. ❄️✨
