📝 Ingredients (for 4 people)
- 4 large ripe plantains
- 20 g fresh ginger, grated
- 5 g garlic, minced
- 1–2 fresh chilies, crushed (adjust heat)
- 1 tsp ground cloves (optional but traditional in Ghana)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 100 ml vegetable oil (for frying)

- Peel the plantains and cut them into cubes or long strips.
- In a bowl, mix ginger, garlic, chilies, cloves, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Toss the plantain pieces in the spice mix until fully coated.
- Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry until golden and crispy on the outside and soft inside.
- Drain on a paper towel and serve warm.
