- 70 ml milk (or water)

- Mix dry ingredients
Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and nutmeg in a bowl. - Add wet ingredients
Add eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla.
Mix to form a thick, smooth, scoopable dough. - Heat the oil
Heat oil in a pot on medium (not smoking hot). - Fry the dough balls
Use a small spoon to drop round balls of dough into the oil.
Fry until golden brown, turning occasionally (3–5 minutes). - Drain
Remove and place on paper towels. - Serve warm
Enjoy as is or dust with powdered sugar.
